For the exhibition: Endurance: Exploring Entropic Forces, at the Abington Art Center in Philadelphia, I created an outdoor work titled Energeia and Dissensus, it was a room sized, enterable outdoor installation. The work takes as its starting point the traditions of environmental sculpture, temporary architecture and landscape architecture, materially it consisted of molded wood armature, which was covered and formed with soil, seed and burlap. The seed was researched and selected to correspond to what the native Americans planted at that location over 300 years prior. The sculpture sprouted and morphed over the course of the exhibition.
